Ben & Jerry's is full of good ideas and fun, and it's traditional "Free Cone Day" is proof of it. But not it's not only fun, the brand also has taken bold steps towards social issues and has been consistent on it.
For 2019's Free Cone Day we merged together these two hemispheres and came up with an idea that enabled the brand to do both things at the same time. The idea is simple: For every cone given away, the brand would donate $1 to one of four causes consumers chose from.
- The result? Lot's of fun and lots of help.
- Everyone smiled.
- The brand helped the world.
- Consumers helped the world and received a free B&J's
- Social media caught fire.
